Ready in 10 – Thai Basil Chicken
We used to visit this restaurant called Thai Basil in Singapore and one of our favourite dishes to order was the Thai Basil Chicken. It is such an easy dish to prepare, authentically they use Thai holy basil which has a more peppery flavour but since i have only eaten with the Thai Sweet basil, i stick to it. I love the sweet aniseedy flavour of the sweet basil.
It takes less than 10 minutes to prepare this dish, so this makes it an all time weekday dinner favourite. My kids love love love this dish. If i forget to cook this for some time, they will promptly remind me.

Notes
- Since the sauces and stock both have high sodium levels, i did not need to add any more salt
- Make sure you cook the rice before you start with this dish, because it is sheer torture to wait for the rice to cook after this dish is made – It is soooo yummy 🙂
